Mervue Organic Skincare

As you know we spent the latest lockdown scouting out lots of fab new designers, and yesterday we had a visit from the lovely Yvonne who is the face behind Mervue Organic - a beautiful new organic skincare range we are delighted to be stocking.  I have been using it for about 6 weeks now and I love it!

Mervue is made using plant-based botanical formulas -  an innovative blend of science and nature using plant oils and active, nutrient dense superfruits blended with aromatic essential oils to promote healthy skin.

The company has gained certification and registration with Leaping Bunny and the Vegan Trademark which are the internationally recognised standards in the beauty industry.  Mervue is an ethical company that is  creating products in a sustainable and ethical way, all completely cruelty-free. Their mission is to enhance and protect people's health and well-being starting with the very first seed, long before the ingredients arrive at their Cosmos approved facility. 

Yvonne says "Our company is committed to certified organic skincare and well being”.

The range includes the essential threesome to Cleanse, Tone and Nourish.  In addition there is a facial serum and a facial balm.  The balm is made with beeswax, mixed with the wonderful serum.  These are my two favorite products and the balm can be used as a cleansing balm or as a face mask.  You just leave it on your face for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with a warm face towel and feel fabulous!  There is also a body wash and a body lotion - both really beautiful.

These products contain a lot of lovely essential oils and superfruits such as cranberry, sea buckthorn, acai fruit extract, acerola cherry, along with ginger and shea butter. The fragrance is delightful and really unique. 

Yvonne makes the entire range by hand in her small Cosmos Approved workshop in Galway, and we are one of the only stockists on the east coast at the moment!  Cosmos is the European standard for the organic and natural products cosmetic industry, and their stamp of approval speaks volumes about Yvonne's approach to this fantastic new collection.

The range is also very affordable - the facial serum is just €32.50, and my own favourite facial balm/mask is €35.

You won't find this range anywhere nearby at the minute, so be sure to pop in to the shop and have a nosey - we have to keep the samples behind the till at the moment (you know why!) but just ask and you can test out the whole range, in a really safe way.
