I have been a photographer since I was barely old enough to hold my mother’s Box Brownie camera. Advances in photographic technology since then have been dramatic but the basic satisfaction of seeing the potential picture and making it happen remains exactly the same and that’s where I concentrate whenever I have the camera to my eye. The camera is not merely the means of recording people, life and times but also a powerful tool for the artist in me. With the advent of high quality digital photography came the opportunity to turn photographic images into a new kind of fine art.
Abstracted from my original photography, these prints are available in a wide range of themes, styles and colours so you can choose your piece based on the subject, or perhaps to fit in with your decor. I print each piece myself, using an archival quality giclee print process and a heavy handmade watercolour paper that adds a stunning texture to the finished print. I then sign each print individually.
All of my frames are made by a local artisan framer in top quality custom made white wooden frames.
A range of sizes and framing options are available through the website, but if you have something particular in mind we can organise a custom print to your exact specifications, so please feel free to get in touch!
