Alexandra is an Artist and Textile Designer who studied Fine Art in Poland.  After studying in Poland, Alexa moved to Ireland to study Textile Design at NCAD in Dublin.  Alexa’s passion of combining art with textiles led her to her own ALEXA DESIGN label. 

Alexa creates striking luxury nuno-felted lady's scarves, all designed and hand-made in Ireland.  

Nuno felting is a fabric felting technique that bonds loose fibre into sheer fabric such as silk, creating a lightweight felt. Each product is created combining high quality silks and merino wool which is softer and more finely crimped than other wools.

Alexa’s designs are nature-inspired, imaginative, individual and unique in which she uses a vibrant palette of colours to create a truly impressive work of art.

Her designs have featured in magazines such as IMAGE MAGAZINE, LIFE SUNDAY INDEPENDENT and THE GLOSS MAGAZINE.
